What will the dishwasher market look like in the future?
In 2019, the China Dishwasher Industry Summit Forum was held in Beijing. JD.com joined hands with 10 mainstream dishwasher brands, including Midea, Siemens, Haier, Panasonic, Fangtai, and AEG.
Although dishwashers have entered the Chinese market more than 20 years ago, the penetration rate is far less than 60%-70% of developed countries in Europe and America.
Nowadays, people's living standards are rapidly improving and consumption is upgrading. In addition, the post-90s generation has accounted for about 15% of China's total population. This group of people already has a certain consumption capacity. The future market of dishwashers is relatively optimistic. It can be expected that the dishwasher will become a necessity for more and more new generation family kitchens.
So what's worth spending on dishwashers today?
1. Bacterial contamination in the kitchen cannot be ignored. The hygiene of kitchen utensils such as cutting boards, tableware, and rags needs attention. Dishwashers (such as Panasonic, Boss, Vantage, Haozer, etc.) Many technical dimensions such as sterilization have reached high standards.
2. In terms of environmental protection, every citizen needs to pay great attention to the water shortage issue. Popularizing the concept of water saving and establishing awareness of water crisis has become the focus of our current attention. In 2019, the China Consumers Association released the "Comparative Test Report on Household Dishwashers", which pointed out that the amount of water consumed by dishwashers is significantly less than that of hand washing.
3. Today's young people are busy with their work, the arrival of the dishwasher can help young people save about 20 minutes a day, and the time saved can be used for other things.
In the future, I believe that dishwashers, like refrigerators and air conditioners, will become an indispensable product in the home & kitchen, it will make family life become more quality and convenient.
